Applying ACTIVELASH is very simple and can take less than 2 minutes once you are experienced with the lash applications process. Allow yourself up to 10 minutes for the first time you apply your lashes.
There are 3 simple steps you must follow:
1. Apply the magnetic liquid eyeliner along your lash line and allow it to dry completely for one minute before applying your lashes. It is SUPER IMPORTANT that you apply enough of the magnetic liner because too little liner will result in the lashes lifting at the corners and you may believe the lashes do not work (which is not true). Also, apply the liner directly on your upper eyelid's eye line. If the liner is too high on your eyelid above your eye line or too low...on your natural lashes...ACTIVELASH will not go on naturally or correctly, will come off prematurely, and you will get poor results.
2. Once the magnetic liner is dry, place the lashes securely on the dried liner. This can be done in several ways. For example, you can place lashes on the inside or outside corner of your eye and slowly fit the lash to your entire eye line. You may need to adjust the corners of the lash slightly to ensure they form perfectly to your eye line. You may use just your fingers or purchase one of our lash applicator tweezers to assist you in the application process. The lash application process takes practice when you are getting started. So, don't be discouraged if the lashes don't go on perfectly your first time. Simply remove the lashes and try again.
SUPERUSER HINT 1: Although the lashes may fit your eye shape and size perfectly out of the box, many of our customers must trim the lashes to fit their unique eye shape and size. You can trim the lashes at the edge of the lash in between one of the small 10 magnets on each lash band. To start, trim off the very end magnetic and then test fit the lash to see if you need to trim additional magnets to make the lash fit. Some of our customers prefer to cut the lash into 4-6 sections and apply each section one at a time. This prevents the lash from coming off at the corners and can result in the most secure application; however, we only suggest this step if the lashes do not go on naturally without cutting the lash into sections.
SUPERUSER HINT 2: To help the lash fit naturally to your eye line, form a bend in the lash by grabbing both ends of the lash and slowly moving it back and forth like a slinky until you are pleased with the bend. Then, place the lash on your eye line as described above.
(3) To remove the eyelashes, gently peel the lashes from your outer lash toward your inner eye. Use standard makeup removal products to remove the magnetic eyeliner from your eye line and the lashes after each use. Always store your magnetic lashes in the original box the lashes came in to ensure the lashes maintain their magnetic qualities and natural shape.
