1. Choose lashes that fit your eye
Your eye size and shape is unique...choose lashes that work best for you! Most lash providers will have a variety of lash styles with different lash lengths and looks to choose from.
2. Measure & Trim your eyelashes
Even if you found the perfect pair of lashes, the lashes rarely fit perfectly right out of the box. Grab a pair of lash trimmers and cut them down to size after you measured them for the perfect fit.
3. Choose magnetic eyelashes!
Magnetic lashes have been proven to be far easier to apply than glue lashes or extensions, are far less toxic, and are less expensive overall. The word magnetic can sound scary, but what makes magnetic lashes magnetic is simply the commonly used iron black oxide found in all eyeliners...even the ones you already use.
4. Apply enough magnetic eyeliner
The biggest magnetic lash mistake we see is when our clients forget to apply magnetic eyeliner across their entire eye line. In addition, the liner needs to be applied with a thickness equal to or greater than the thickness of the lash band. Failing to apply enough eyeliner means lashes will lift at the corner and will not stay on like they should!
5. Clean your magnetic eyelashes after each use
One of the biggest benefits of magnetic eyelashes is that they can be re-used up to 50 times. Try doing that with glue strip lashes! The only thing that will prevent your magnetic lashes from lasting is if they get dirty. So, we highly recommend that you take a cotton swab or q-tip and use a water-based makeup remover to gently wipe away the magnetic eyeliner from the lash band and lashes after every wear.
